Share Your Creations: Introducing the ColorLayer Gallery

3D printing is more fun when you can share what you have made. Today we are launching the ColorLayer Gallery — a community space where you can publish your multi-color models, browse what others have created, and find inspiration for your next print.

Publishing Your Models

Publishing a model from ColorLayer is simple:

1. Create your model in the editor as usual
2. Click Publish when you are happy with the result
3. Add a title and your model goes live

Published models include a 3D preview that anyone can interact with — rotate, zoom, and inspect the layer structure. Visitors can see the color palette and layer configuration you used.

Browsing the Gallery

The Explore page displays all published models in a grid layout. Each card shows:

• A preview thumbnail
• The model title
• The creator's name
• The color palette used

You can browse for inspiration before starting your own project. See what color combinations other makers are using, what types of images work well, and how different layer counts affect the result.

Your Model Library

Once you create an account, all your saved models (both published and private) appear in your personal My Models page. From there you can:

• Re-open any model to continue editing
• Publish or unpublish models from the gallery
• Delete models you no longer need
• Download 3MF files from previously saved projects

Cloud Sync

Your models are stored securely in the cloud. This means you can start a project on your desktop, save it, and continue editing on another device. All settings, color configurations, and calibration data are preserved.

Privacy

By default, saved models are private — only you can see them. Publishing is always an explicit action. You can unpublish any model at any time, removing it from the public gallery immediately.

What is Next

The gallery is just the beginning of our community features. We are exploring:

• Colorways — multiple color palette variations for the same model
• Likes and favorites — save models you want to reference later
• Collections — curated groups of models by theme
